Child Care recommendation
I am a stay at home Mum with a 22 month and a 2 month old boy. I am looking for a daycare centre or family daycare where he can go one or two days a week. Can anyone recommend a good one, with lots of play that provide food as I want him to be exposed to different flavours and socialise with kids.

Child Care
My daughter goes to the ABC on healy street and despite ABC having a bad name this child care center is wonderful. The staff are very nice, she gets lots of different types of meals and has made some friends. She is almost 3 and has been going there since she was 7 months. I would definitely recommend this center.

A Country Garden
My daughter goes to this centre and has loved it from day one. MRs Sam is the dictor and she is great the staff are lovely as well. They also provide meals. But more imporantly no matter what centre you decide is right for you child you need to feel welcome and feel that your child is getting the best care possible. Don't just look at one or two centres think about things that you expect from them and don't settle. Good luck..

A Country Garden
I had three kids go there and it was great food for the kids and good care. Only thing is the price. For us, it was around $70-$80 a week. We then asked Stuart street daycare and it was a third of the price. Obviously they don't do food but the food we supply is less than $50 a week.
Another good thing is when your 22 month old goes to kindy, they have a bus that can pick your child up from kindy and take him/her to the daycare centre.

Family Day Care!
I used to go to family day care providors through Kath Dickson - I always enjoyed that a lot more (apparently) when I was younger as a lot of the carers take all the kids to a creche or playgroup or something a couple of times a week. It really depends what you want to get out of the daycare I guess. Like, an actual center may be more education-based, but family day care is more like home. My Mum used to do it herself when my sister and I were younger, and I plan to do it when I settle down with kids =]
